Review – Martian Comics #25

Cover for "Martian Comics 25" depicting the back of a naked martian, their front arms holding hands over their belly and the back arms spread over.

This giant-size issue represents the 25th comic by “Martian Lit”, an indie publisher that has created a centuries-spawning saga around Mars, their inhabitants and the relationship with Earth. This comic continues the detailed saga of the arms dealers which intersects closely with social movements at the start of the XX century. Also, we get other glimpses on stories, including a moving one about mental health that shines through. Other commentary story about Earthlings being no more than Martian pets, and finally a novel treatment, reimagining a Jack Kirby story in the public domain.

In all another great issue led by Julian Darius and his amazing team of collaborators, I recommend taking a look at the several offerings this indie company has, you can get them via Amazon, DriveThruRPG, or even better, subscribing at their Patreon, as I have been for years.
